Buying Guides For Guitars, Bass Guitars, Keyboards, and Drums

Making the transition from wanting to play an instrument to buying an instrument can be really hard. These buying guides will help you make that transition.

First, you have to decide what type of instrument you want to play. This page [Page under construction] will give you some tips on how to determine what instrument you want to play. This step is the hardest, as the choice ultimately boils down to a lot of individual factors that only you can decide. I can, however, guide your thinking so that you can make the best decision on what you want to play.

After this critical step it becomes much easier. There will still be some choices you'll have to make, but it becomes a lot easier to decide because you've now limited your choice to a much smaller range of instruments.

Before you begin, though, I want to advise you not to buy the cheapest equipment you can find. In fact, I don't recommend entry level equipment for most people. So, before you go any further, please read "Why You Shouldn't Buy an Entry Level or Beginner Instrument."

Have you decided that you want to play the guitar? Okay, only a few more choices to make. Do you want to play electric guitar or acoustic guitar? Read this page [page under construction] to learn the differences between the two.

So you want to play the acoustic guitar? Read this acoustic guitar buying guide to learn exactly what to look for and exactly what you'll need to buy.

Want to wail on the electric guitar? Read this page [page under construction] and you'll be shredding away in no time!

The thought of driving bass lines make you giddy? Read this page [page under construction] to start driving the music today.

Already tapping your foot on the ground and your fingers on the table? This page [page under construction] will have you striking drum heads rather than table heads in no time.

Do your fingers long to stop typing and start running against the keys of a keyboard? Read this [page under construction] and let's get you making music rather than words today.
